About the Role

T1 Energy is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to manage construction schedules, cost tracking, reporting, and document control for large-scale manufacturing and infrastructure projects. This role supports the engineering, procurement, and construction phases, reporting to the Project Control Director. The position requires developing and maintaining project control systems to track performance and provide data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Build and track project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls, including earned value and variance analysis.
Monitor schedule and cost performance, identify risks and trends, and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain change control, including schedule impacts, cost impacts, and documentation.
Prepare clear, executive-ready reporting on schedule health, cost status, risks, and recovery plans.
Support contractor and vendor schedule reviews and progress validation.
Improve project controls processes, tools, and standards as the company scales.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
1-3 years of experience from large capital projects within advanced manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
Hands-on experience building and managing schedules for complex projects using Primavera P6.
Experience in cost management during construction is a plus.
Proficiency with scheduling and cost tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel).
