About the Role
The Department of French seeks a sessional lecturer for FSL102H1F Elementary French II, an intensive basic course in spoken and written French for students with minimal French experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of delivering a university credit course.
- Teaching a French language course.
- Preparing all course materials, including tests and assignments.
- Holding office hours and maintaining regular email communication with students.
- Grading tests and assignments.
- Meeting with your supervisor as required.
Requirements
- PhD in French Studies or a related field.
- Experience teaching language courses at the university level.
- Strong expertise in course design, planning, and preparation of lecture materials.
- Fluency in French and English.
