About the Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to join our Commercial Auto business. This role involves developing, retaining, and growing complex client relationships by understanding client needs, acting as an advisor, and leading the strategy for complex financial solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, retain, and grow complex to highly complex client relationships through relationship management, understanding client needs, responding quickly, communicating proactively, managing expectations, and soliciting feedback.
- Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop, influence, or lead the structuring, modification, and renewal of highly complex cash flow, real estate loans, and industry-specific solutions.
- Lead the strategy and resolution for a full suite of highly complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo to meet unique client needs.
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group.
- Strategically engage with all levels across the enterprise to improve processes and risk control, resolve client issues, and represent the company externally.
- Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines.
- Source and originate new commercial banking relationships by identifying, prospecting, and closing opportunities with middle-market and mid-corporate companies.
- Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide vision, direction, and expertise on client and market needs for credit solution innovation and delivery.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 2+ years working with retail franchise automotive dealerships to provide lending solutions, inventory financing, and floor plan financing.
- Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships.
- Proven ability to build effective partnerships, such as Treasury Management, WIM, and Indirect Retail.
- Commercial banking account relationship management experience within the Emerging Middle Market / Middle Market segment.
- Completion of formal credit training program.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects.
- Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
