About the Role
MMGY Global is seeking a Senior Account Executive, PR in our Austin, TX office to inspire people to go places by sharing clients' stories. This role focuses on connecting media, consumers, and influencers to promote travel.
Responsibilities
- Storytelling via pitch and press release writing
- Creative development of packages, promotions, events, and partnerships
- Arranging interviews and landing thought leadership pieces
- Coordinating and hosting press trips
Requirements
- BA/BS college degree in communications or journalism
- 3-5 years PR/related experience
- Direct travel and lifestyle client background preferred
- A strong network of high-level print, digital and broadcast media contacts
- Sharp pitching and networking skills
- Proficient writing
- Self-starting and hands-on
- Organized and thoughtful
- Superior people skills

- Savvy client counsel

- Enjoys working with and mentoring others
