About the Role

Fox News Media is seeking a dynamic Production Assistant to join the Fox Nation live team, responsible for executing live streams of breaking news and events. The ideal candidate loves current events, politics, and breaking news, and is familiar with the Fox News brand. This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, a self-starter attitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team. The Production Assistant will also support other productions like town halls, live events, and specials, managing daily activities and long-term priorities.

Responsibilities

Direct and operate live streams and shows in an automated control room
Write creative and editorially interesting descriptions
Work with graphics to create toolkits for the app
Coordinate with other departments including legal, finance, graphics, marketing, field production, and media relations
Potential for long hours, including evenings and weekends

Requirements

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment under tight deadlines
Ability to work under tight deadline pressures
Excellent communication skills
Strong knowledge of current events
Positive attitude and team player spirit

Skills

Live streaming/TV programming experience is a plus
