Responsibilities
- Review Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns for clients in the Entertainment Industry, including professionals, athletes, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and their related entities.
- Conduct online tax research.
- Perform accounting work necessary for tax return preparation.
- Develop and nurture long-term client relationships.
- Develop client solutions and champion their implementation.
- Review and confirm assignment objectives, scope, and work plans with clients.
- Identify assignment resource requirements and ensure appropriate resource allocation.
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve complex assignment issues.
- Seek regular client assessments of assignment progress and performance feedback.
- Manage groups to ensure profitability.
- Support the partner team in identifying and promoting new delivery capabilities and channels.
- Support the partner team in developing practice unit strategy, objectives, and budgets.
- Identify and develop new initiatives to increase retention, meet resourcing needs, utilization, and people development.
- Utilize strong coaching skills to mentor key talent.
- Share and transfer knowledge and skills to the team.
- Engage in ongoing personal development aligned with the competency model.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Active CPA license.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive U.S. tax compliance and consulting experience in public accounting.
- At least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Demonstrated experience working with high-net-worth individuals, entertainers, athletes, family offices, and related entities.
- Experience with multi-state and foreign tax returns.
- Proven track record of managing multiple complex client engagements simultaneously and ensuring timely delivery.
- Hands-on experience with tax preparation and review software.
- Strong project management skills, including budget oversight, resource allocation, and deadline management.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly to non-tax professionals.
- Strong client service orientation with a proven ability to retain and grow client relationships.
- Flexibility to work from home while collaborating in person half the time.

Salary/Compensations
- $140,100 - $190,900 (Colorado)
- $154,200 - $210,000 (Washington, Illinois, New York, Southern California)
- $161,100 - $219,500 (Northern California)
