About the Role

Interns in the Ardian Infrastructure team support the identification, analysis, and execution of potential investment opportunities, as well as the management of existing portfolio assets. They will gain a comprehensive understanding of infrastructure private equity investment, from deal sourcing and execution to asset and client management.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting investment teams on financial analysis, valuation, and financial modeling.
  • Preparing internal deal materials, including investment memoranda and valuation presentations.
  • Reviewing and creating financial models, including future business forecasts, valuation, return analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Analyzing new deal opportunities and investment perimeters through ad-hoc reviews.
  • Supporting asset management activities such as debt refinancing and implementing growth initiatives.
  • Liaising with Ardian deal teams and potential co-investors.
  • Preparing regular asset management reporting.
  • Participating in communication to Ardian clients.

Requirements

  • Degree either completed or due to complete from a leading university or business school.
  • Previous internship in Private Equity fund, M&A, or structured/leveraged finance team of an investment bank, Transaction Services team of a leading audit firm, or leading strategy consulting firm is beneficial.
  • High level of communication skills required, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external contacts, including clients, other Ardian teams, operating partners, advisors, and consultants.
  • Ability to interact with team members in other geographies.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
