About the Role
Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis is seeking a strategic, high-energy Senior Account Executive, Personal Representation & Entertainment to join their London team. This role involves working directly with high-profile talent and entertainment clients across film, television, streaming, music, and culture in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will balance strategic counsel, creativity, discretion, and media savvy to build and protect client profiles, generate coverage, and navigate the entertainment media landscape.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior team members to develop and execute publicity strategies that elevate clients’ profiles and support their professional goals.
- Proactively pitch and secure high-impact features, profiles, and interviews by leveraging a network of media contacts.
- Understand the nuances of representing individuals across film, television, streaming, music, and entertainment, staying ahead of industry news.
- Shape compelling narratives around clients and their work, tailoring stories for different audiences and platforms.
- Integrate traditional earned media, social platforms, creator ecosystems, and digital content to build client profiles.
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and other influential voices.
- Produce sophisticated, client-ready materials including press releases, pitch notes, and media strategies.
- Manage day-to-day priorities across a roster of talent clients, ensuring efficiency and professionalism.
- Handle sensitive information and navigate challenging situations with tact and confidence.
- Mentor and teach junior team members, helping them develop media instincts and client-service capabilities.
- Prioritize trust, integrity, responsiveness, and long-term relationships with clients, colleagues, and the media.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in communications, PR, entertainment publicity, or talent representation.
- Understanding of the unique dynamics of working with individuals and shaping public profiles.
- A growing network of entertainment, celebrity, lifestyle, culture, and digital media relationships.
- Strong understanding of the entertainment landscape and its surrounding media ecosystem.
- Ability to identify and translate client stories into compelling narratives.
- Strong situational awareness, emotional intelligence, and judgment.
- Fast, persuasive, and detail-oriented writing skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, curiosity, and a drive to find new opportunities.
