About the Role
The Global Cross Border team defines and executes the cross border business strategy for travel and eCommerce. As a Strategy Analyst, you will drive the growth of our cross border business through travel initiatives, supporting the Visa Destinations platform and working with regional and global teams to enhance value propositions and target customer segments.
Responsibilities
- Build winning strategies across key travel corridors.
- Support initiatives to strengthen our XB value proposition and help define our global strategy for target markets and corridors.
- Help define our global strategy for travel personas (expats, students, etc.).
- Support investment prioritization and management across regions.
- Support work with key issuers and global clients to increase cross-border PV and market share.
- Scale Visa Destinations globally, growing our new, differentiated global travel platform.
- Help build out and fortify the value propositions of current destinations (e.g. Paris, NY), including sharing best practices.
- Work with regional XB teams to define the vision, strategy and value propositions of new destinations (e.g. Madrid, Tokyo, Egypt), and support execution.
- Support issuer adoption and value creation.
- Leverage market, competitive and internal data to develop hypotheses and analyses to inform key strategic decisions (e.g. market prioritization, issuer prioritization, etc.).
- Support senior management updates and progress tracking.
Requirements
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Experience in a strategic, product or international role within a global organization
- Understanding of international markets, customer segmentation, and value proposition development, including business case development and go-to-market planning.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in consumer financial services and payments is beneficial.
- Demonstrated success in driving growth initiatives.
- Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
