About the Role
HP Hood is seeking a high-impact player to join their team. This role involves critical processing tasks within a food and beverage manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Batching, legal pasteurization, and storage of all products according to plant SOPs and the PMO.
- Operation of the HTST while maintaining legal pasteurization requirements.
- Proper documentation for all charts and records in accordance with NYS AG+MKTS legal requirements.
- Obtain and maintain NYS AG+MKTS broken seal certification and assist with HTST system inspections.
- CIP all tanks, lines, and equipment associated with processing.
- Follow all company formulation and assure correct ingredients amounts are being used and documented.
- Assist with setting yogurt silos, operating the yogurt separator, and assisting in the cottage cheese vat room when needed.
- Perform a daily inventory of products in the processing area at beginning of the shift to maintain 72/24 hour storage regulations.
- Work in conjunction with manufacturing employees to properly transfer raw ingredients.
- Perform assigned sanitary PM tasks monthly.
- Maintain all documented information as per SQF requirements.
- Keep all work areas, including the ingredient storage area, neat and clean at all times, to conform to GMP and SQF requirements.
- Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm’s way.
- Stay until job is completed or relieved.
- Perform any other assignment by a Supervisor or Foreman.

Salary/Compensations
- $26.32 an hour, once deemed qualified as a Processor, the hourly pay rate will increase to $27.07/hour.
