About the Role

The Temporary Gift Processing Coordinator will collaborate with the Development Operations team to ensure timely processing and acknowledgment of donations, contributing to an excellent donor experience. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate records and supporting the mission to end hunger.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Development Operations team to provide donors an excellent giving experience.
• Maintain timely processing and acknowledgment of donations using available technology and resources.
• Prep gift scanning and files.
• Coordinate with the Finance team for check deposits.
• Ensure a donor-centric process for timely gift entry and acknowledgment.
• Post in-house printed acknowledgments and tribute cards.
• Perform onsite mail processing, scanning of donations, and file prep for DevOps and Finance.
• Prepare, print, and mail gift acknowledgments and tribute cards.
• Perform data entry into The Raiser’s Edge CRM.
• Manage returned mail and update records in The Raiser’s Edge CRM.
• Run queries for data audit and maintenance functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in non-profit, development, or related field.
• Strong experience in gift processing and data entry.
• General understanding of fundraising standards and methodologies.
• Experience working in an office environment.
• Proficient in Raiser’s Edge.
• Ability to handle and maintain sensitive, confidential information.

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Fast, proficient, and accurate data entry.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage heavy workloads during peak times.
