Electric Power Engineers (EPE) partners with power and energy clients globally, providing consulting expertise and software solutions for complex engineering and grid modeling challenges. Responsibilities
- Perform projects/tasks such as network-wide steady-state and short-circuit studies.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts, including development of Python scripts.
- Gain experience with the Texas and Eastern Interconnection power systems.
- Learn the day-to-day activities of a power systems engineer.
Requirements
- Completion of, or current enrollment in, a bachelor’s degree program with a major in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university.
- Completion of, or current enrollment in, power systems fundamentals class(es) (strongly preferred).
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
