About the Role

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Client Aviation Manager (CAM) to lead a flight department at the KSWF airport. The role requires a team player dedicated to excellence, safety, and integrity, contributing to the company's culture of service.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise assigned personnel to ensure compliance with Solairus, FAA, and other applicable manuals and regulations.
  • Monitor personal appearance, dress code, and conduct of assigned personnel to maintain high standards.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all Solairus Aviation memorandums.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and review training for crew and maintenance personnel with appropriate contractors.
  • Coordinate maintenance test, training, and other flights outside the normal client scheduling system.
  • Develop scheduling procedures with clients for reliable and efficient aircraft scheduling.
  • Approve and schedule Personal Time Off (PTO) for assigned personnel through the flight coordinator.
  • Update the flight coordinator on aircraft schedule changes and matters affecting aircraft and crew scheduling.
  • Conduct meetings with personnel to coordinate activities, identify problems, answer questions, share information, and foster goodwill.
  • Approve expense accounts for assigned personnel.
  • Participate in the interview process for assigned personnel.
  • Solicit input and/or approval from the Client Responsible Officer for operational, personnel, and administrative issues.
  • Notify the Client Responsible Officer of anticipated pilot relief needs.
  • Submit written reports as required by Operations Manuals, with copies to the Client Responsible Officer.
  • Revise all copies of manuals and publications assigned to aircraft.
  • Maintain Training Currency and Monthly Flight Time Records for each crewmember.
  • Ensure timely submission of training records, medicals, and other operations data to flight operations.
  • Promote customer goodwill through high-quality service and professional demeanor.
  • Promote the business reputation, company image, and goodwill of Solairus Aviation.
  • Actively participate in Safety Management System (SMS) implementation and initiatives.
  • Be familiar with SMS policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Total time = 3000 hours
  • PIC = 1500 hours
  • MEL = 1500 hours
  • MEL PIC = 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet = 500
  • Instrument Time = 250 hours
  • A management background with a demonstrated track record of exceptional leadership skill is required.
  • Experience in multiple facets of training for flight operations personnel.
  • Budget development and management experience.
  • Interpersonal communication skills to coordinate activities, identify problems, answer questions, pass information, and promote department goodwill.
  • Track record of working in and contributing to the development of environments striving to implement industry best practices in flight operations.
  • Typed on Global 6000
  • First class medical required
  • Must be able to work on an on-call basis
  • Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually
  • Must be located or willing to relocate within 2 hours of KSWF.

Salary/Compensations

  • $50,000 to $500,000 based on geographic area, experience, equipment type/aircraft, job duties, training, and the assigned account.
