About the Role
Rogers Affaires helps businesses adapt, expand, and succeed with innovative network services and technology solutions. We are seeking a talented individual to lead a new Point of Sale solutions Centre of Excellence within Rogers Business, accelerating the adoption of Rogers POS solutions across the SMB segment.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, train, and coach a team of POS solutions growth specialists.
- Create a high-performance culture focused on customer results, collaboration, and disciplined execution.
- Achieve national targets for Rogers POS solutions regarding activation, presentation, product penetration, pipeline status, and customer experience.
- Develop strategies that drive adoption across the SMB sales portfolio while minimizing internal channel conflict.
- Oversee sales lead flow, set service level expectations for initial response and follow-up, monitor conversion performance, and continuously improve the handling of leads generated by Rogers.com and marketing.
- Define weekly rhythms for pipeline inspection, forecasting, and deal review.
- Collaborate with sales, product, marketing, enablement, operations, compensation, and payments partners to remove obstacles and improve execution.
- Develop scalable sales plays, vertical strategies, coaching resources, and best practices for the entire SMB sales organization.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years of people management experience in a sales environment.
- Seven or more years of progressive experience in payment processing, merchant acquiring, merchant services, fintech, POS solutions, or a closely related industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing quota-bearing or specialized sales teams.
- Excellent knowledge of merchant economics, payment processing, pricing models, POS ecosystems, and competitive replacement strategies.
- Experience managing sales funnels, forecasting, conversion performance, and operational rhythms.
- Strong coaching, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence and lead within a matrixed sales organization.
- Experience with at least one merchant acquiring or POS platform is an asset (e.g., Clover, Fiserv, Moneris, Chase Payment Solutions, Global Payments, Elavon, Square, Toast, and Lightspeed).
