About the Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Analyst is responsible for maintaining on-time and accurate end-to-end payroll for unionized and non-unionized employees across Canada. This role requires the ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Payroll Analyst will collaborate with internal and external partners, conduct audits, and provide daily support to stakeholders. Opportunities exist to contribute fresh ideas and insights through various projects focused on employee engagement and success.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process payroll from end to end
- Audit payroll processing to ensure accuracy
- Address payroll issues
- Act as a point of contact for stakeholders
- Process monthly accrual
- Maintain Elections and Benefits
- Champion process improvement, modifications, updates, and enhancement in technology to ensure optimal performance in the delivery of payroll services
Requirements
- Hands-on full-cycle payroll experience
- Experience with unionized payrolls
- Experience with collective agreements (Preferred)
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Knowledge of year-end compliance (Preferred)
- Customer Service experience
- Knowledge of Dayforce/Workday
- Bilingual French/English

Salary/Compensations
- $65,600 - $77,900+
- Starting Bonus at Target $9,840
