About the Role

As a Multi-Site Maintenance Technician II, you will operate independently across multiple trades, completing service requests, preventative maintenance, and full turns to help maintain high operational standards across properties.

Responsibilities

  • Independently complete service requests and make-ready turns.
  • Diagnose and repair intermediate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and building inspections.
  • Participate in move-in/move-out inspections.
  • Maintain inventory and shop organization.
  • Respond to on-call and emergency service requests.
  • Demonstrate safe operation of tools, diagnostic equipment, and chemical safety procedures.
  • Maintain personal tool inventory.
  • Complete required safety and compliance training.
  • This role may include additional duties consistent with the position.

Requirements

  • 2+ years maintenance experience required (multifamily preferred).
  • Intermediate-level skills across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of appliances.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Active participation in team functions and regional or company activities is expected.
  • Regular periods of sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching as well as use of hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
  • Ability to respond promptly to both visual and auditory alarms is essential.
  • Specific vision requirements include the ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions.
  • Working at a personal computer for administrative tasks and using mobile devices while in the field is required.

  • Supports and guide Technician I team members when needed.
  • Comfortable diagnosing routine HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues.
  • Ability to complete full make-ready turns independently.
  • Safe use of meters and diagnostic tools.
  • Proficient with work-order systems and basic computer and mobile technology.

Work Type

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with participation in being on-call as needed.

Experience Level

  • 2+ years maintenance experience

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or GED

Salary/Compensations

  • $24.00 to $26.00 hourly, depending on experience, plus lease renewal bonuses.
