About the Role
The Programmatic Marketing Manager will drive omnichannel programmatic advertising and the DTC go-to-market strategy for RxLocal, RedSail’s patient-facing mobile app. This role is ideal for a marketer who thrives in a build-it-from-scratch environment and wants to shape how pharmacy patients discover, adopt, and engage with a health platform. You will collaborate with various teams to grow the RxLocal user base, drive pharma brand engagement, and position RedSail as a key patient engagement partner.
Responsibilities
- Own the relationship with demand-side platforms/agencies to run advertising programs that yield high-performing results.
- Oversee the maintenance of multiple campaigns, creative assets, and performance.
- Collaborate with RedSail’s clinical teams to ensure ad campaigns will be effective for pharmacies.
- Own and execute the DTC marketing strategy for RxLocal, driving patient app awareness, download, activation, and retention.
- Develop patient acquisition campaigns across paid digital (Meta, Google, programmatic), pharmacy in-store, and CRM/SMS channels.
- Build and optimize omnichannel patient journeys from first touchpoint through refill adherence and long-term engagement.
- Create patient-facing content and creative assets that drive measurable engagement and retention.
- Translate clinical and product capabilities into clear, compelling, consumer-friendly messaging.
- Partner with ad agency on patient ad deployment within RxLocal App.
- Develop marketing materials, pitch decks, case studies, and thought leadership content to support the pharma sales team.
- Build RxLocal's positioning and messaging for pharmaceutical manufacturer audiences.
- Create co-branded marketing programs and campaign assets for pharma advertisers.
- Partner with the pharma sales team on account-based marketing (ABM) strategies targeting priority pharma brands.
- Define and track KPIs for all DTC and B2B marketing programs.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify positioning opportunities.
- Work with the product team to ensure app feature launches are supported by strong go-to-market plans.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance to leadership with clear recommendations for optimization.
Requirements
- Must have experience working with ad agencies and demand-side platforms (DSPs).
- 5+ years of programmatic media and digital marketing experience, with meaningful DTC or patient/consumer-facing marketing experience in healthcare, digital health, pharma, or health tech.
- Demonstrated experience building and executing patient acquisition or consumer engagement campaigns across digital channels (paid social, SEM, programmatic, CRM/email/SMS).
- Strong written and verbal communicator.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth product or platform environment.
- Proficiency with marketing analytics - comfortable owning performance metrics, building reports, and making data-driven decisions.
- Energized by the challenge of building an audience and a brand from the ground up.
- Ability to consider both the patient and the pharma brand manager perspectives.
- Care for the patient at the end of the transaction.
- Moderate or high levels of stress may be experienced in the performance of the job.
- May need to sit or stand for extended periods of time and use a computer or other electronic devices for prolonged periods.
- Daily use of Microsoft Teams (phone), computer, printer, and other routine office equipment.
- Must have reliable and consistent internet access.

Salary/Compensations
- $80,000 - $90,000 annually
