About the Role
As a Junior FP&A Manager, you will be the operational backbone of our finance department, working closely with the Finance Lead and accounting. You will be responsible for transparent figures, precise analyses, and smooth financial processes, actively contributing to the improvement of our operations through modern tools and innovations like AI.
Responsibilities
- Perform independent invoice and credit card reviews and issue outgoing invoices.
- Actively assist with daily/weekly liquidity management, categorize payment flows, maintain cash planning, and prepare variance analyses.
- Prepare, generate, and distribute regular cost center reports, and prepare budget and variance analyses for department heads.
- Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, forecasts, ad-hoc analyses, and management presentations and dashboards.
- Analyze existing finance processes and improve them by implementing automations, such as targeted use of AI tools and interface optimizations.
- Provide general administrative support, ensure structured filing and documentation, and maintain consistent master data.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Administration (BWL), Finance, Business Mathematics, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Strong communication skills to present complex financial data understandably to non-financial stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of business fundamentals (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and initial grasp of corporate management and KPIs.
- Fluent German and English language skills are mandatory.
- Very good Excel/Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot, etc.).
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with self-initiated plausibility and quality checks.
- Proactive mindset, willingness to suggest solutions, and strong interest in new technologies and AI automation.
