About the Role

Gain valuable experience in audit or tax, working on client engagements and learning from senior staff. Internships offer exposure to various industries and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Completing audit testing on financial statement accounts
• Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
• Helping to draft management letter comments and the audit report
• Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers

Requirements

• Solid technical accounting knowledge

• Ability to work well with a team as well as independently

• Willingness to take initiative
• Close attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines
• Intern candidates must be working toward CPA Exam eligibility
• Satisfactory academic performance in major-related coursework is expected
• Must maintain a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.0
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned office
• Must be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire
