About the Role

PwC UK Healthcare Corporate Finance team advises privately owned, PE backed and large corporate clients on a variety of sell-side and buy-side transactions, with typical deal sizes of £100-500m+. The team has a leading reputation for executing high-profile transactions nationally and internationally. We are seeking a confident, collaborative Manager with 2-4 years of deal experience, a proactive mindset, and commercial acumen to join our motivated team of dealmakers.

Responsibilities

Support live transactions end-to-end, from origination and marketing through to execution and completion, with ownership over key workstreams
Build trusted client relationships and deliver high-quality work, across pitch documents, marketing materials, financial analysis and other transaction deliverables
Engage in origination efforts, including conducting detailed market, financial and commercial research, supporting with proposals, and meeting with potential targets
Support and coach junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment

Requirements

2-4 years of deal experience
Knowledge and understanding of applicable regional dynamics (economic, political, industry-focussed) is preferred but not essential
Corporate Finance experience, with end-to-end deal experience
Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
Commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build trusted relationships with clients
Pro-active mindset, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced deal environment
Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams and collaboratively with others
Must possess an ACA/CA/ACCA qualification (or international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience, including international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country
