About the Role
The Financial Operations Analyst for the College of Medicine Finance Office provides professional financial and administrative support for the unit by performing a broad range of fiscal activities with moderate scope and complexity. The role applies general accounting principles, institutional policies, and departmental procedures to support budgeting, procurement, financial reporting, and operational compliance.
Responsibilities
- Prepares financial documentation.
- Analyzes revenue and expenditures.
- Serves as a liaison with internal service units and external partners to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations.
- Contributes to the development and improvement of fiscal processes.
- Assists with audit preparation.
- Maintains financial records in accordance with institutional standards.
- Collaborates with faculty, staff, and departmental leadership on both routine and non-routine financial matters to support the unit’s operational goals.
Requirements
- Requires successful completion of a background check.
- Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
- Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
- A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
