About the Role
Join GE Aerospace and play a critical role keeping our production lines moving and helping shape the future of flight. We’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Lead Material Fulfillment Coordinator 4 to monitor KPI performance, mentor teammates, and drive day‑to‑day material flow across manufacturing and logistics.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily priorities for the material fulfillment team and coordinate work across shifts to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity (SQDIP) goals.
- Train, mentor and support other material handlers and stockroom staff.
- Use MRP/ERP systems (Oracle) to enter and manage material transactions, resolve transaction inquiries and ensure timely work order release.
- Oversee stockroom operations: kitting, release of kits to production, managing backorders and resolving floor shortages.
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and recommendations for process improvements.
- Coordinate ordering and management of supplies, filing of source documents, and physical inventory activities.
- Participate in lean/continuous improvement activities for material presentation and stockroom layout.
- Assist with shipping tasks (including basic foam packing machine maintenance) and access customer/carrier portals as needed.
- Maintain safe, neat, and compliant workstations and follow company safety policies.
- Monitor department KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity).
- Mentor new staff.
- Set daily priorities for others.
- Perform intermediate tasking related to material handling in various stages of manufacturing and logistics.
- Track material availability.
- Ensure timely work order release.
- Assist in other material handling activities such as receiving, storing, kitting, counting, bagging, tagging, packing and shipping of materials.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
- 3–5 years of manufacturing or logistics experience.
- Proficient with MRP/ERP systems.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to interpret and act on material availability and transaction inquiries.
- Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and mentor teammates in a self‑directed teaming environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must be willing to stand for extended periods.
- Requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
- Must be able to prove status as a U.S. Person (U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, asylee or refugee status).
