About the Role

PrimeSource Building Products is seeking a skilled CDL Class A driver for local/yard operations. This role is a great opportunity for drivers seeking stability, strong pay, and a company that values safety and teamwork. Drivers are essential to our success, playing a critical role in delivering for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in local and/or regional routes
• Transport materials using flatbeds, dry vans, doubles, or curtain side trailers
• Properly secure loads to ensure safe transit and prevent damage
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
• Load and unload materials as required
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and internal teams
• Work overtime and occasional weekends as business needs require

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL license
• Minimum of 2 years of Class A driving experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety practices
• Ability to secure loads and handle physical job requirements
