About the Role

Major Food Group is seeking Hosts to join their team at Parm Woodbury in Central Valley. The restaurant is known for its iconic takes on Italian-American soul food, aiming to serve recognizable dishes in a fun, familial environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests, presents menus, and informs them of specials.
• Ensures guest satisfaction and strives to exceed expectations.
• Manages guest waitlists and the floor plan board.
• Monitors table status (clean, dirty, occupied).
• Accurately quotes wait times and takes guest information.
• Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the host area.
• Answers phone calls and provides information about the menu and restaurant.
• Ensures a positive dining experience for arriving and departing guests.
• Performs other duties as directed.

Requirements

• Previous customer service experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant is preferred but not required.
• Must possess the drive to provide exceptional service.
• Requires full-time flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours, bend, push, pull, and lift 30 lbs.
• Proficient in or able to learn computer skills including POS systems, OpenTable, Word, and Excel.
• Must have a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
