About the Role
Air Culinaire Worldwide is hiring for a brand-new kitchen in Armonk, NY, opening in Mid-November 2026. This role involves delivering orders, shopping, maintaining delivery vehicles, and providing stellar customer service. Training will occur at the Teterboro facility in Carlstadt, NJ, until the new kitchen opens.
Responsibilities
- Deliver catering orders and concierge items safely and timely in compliance with Air Culinaire Worldwide (ACW) Standard Operating Procedures.
- Utilize Shipday for all order logistics and deliveries, including delivery photos and recipient names.
- Participate in serving ACW customers and relaying feedback to the General Manager.
- Act as an on-site problem solver, making decisions to resolve issues according to company procedures.
- Drive safely, adhering to state laws and safety guidelines, and always be courteous to avoid accidents.
- Maintain the vehicle fleet, including cleaning vehicles weekly and ensuring Geotab Device and Key FOB are functional.
- Fill the gas tank before returning to the kitchen on the final run.
- Pick up supplies as needed, perform small kitchen prep, and conduct routine vehicle cleaning and maintenance.
- Understand and maintain quality control and food-safety procedures during delivery.
- Maintain operationally safe vehicles by conducting regular inspections and servicing.
- Keep vehicles impeccably clean, inside and out.
- Assist with the assembly of silverware units and stocking of items in company vehicles.
- Meet weekly with the GM to ensure ACW standards and procedures are accurately reflected in daily operations.
- Safely operate company vehicles and drive in compliance with all local and federal laws and regulations.
- Dress professionally and within company guidelines, including the approved uniform.
- Carry company-provided telephones/radios when on duty and communicate as required.
- Cross-train to prepare or produce food in the kitchen during slow business periods or staffing shortages.
- Adhere to Federal, State, and Local regulations and requirements, including Regulated Garbage Training, Special “on-airport” driver training, airport badging, and TSA/Department of Homeland Security confirmations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Requirements
- A High School diploma is required.
- Previous face-to-face customer service experience in the aviation, food services, or hospitality industry is essential.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Must possess a sense of urgency at all times and be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to details.
- Prior delivery driving experience preferred.
- The Driver must have an excellent driving record.
- Must be able to pass a FAA on-ramp security clearance.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
- Candidate must be able to travel in accordance with the current ACW Travel Policy.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply good judgement understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to use hands to handle, reach and carry with hands and arms.
- Must lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
