About the Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be embedded directly with startup customers, owning the entire technical relationship. You will deploy cutting-edge AI tooling into real startup workflows and be responsible for their success. This role is for a builder comfortable with customer environments and whiteboarding new AI workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own the full technical customer lifecycle, ensuring customers derive value.
- Identify and champion high-impact use cases by working with startup engineering teams.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, providing insights to shape the product roadmap.
Requirements
- 3+ years in a technical, customer-facing role (e.g., Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Software Engineer with consulting/startup experience).
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript with a track record of shipping production software.
- Hands-on experience deploying or integrating AI tooling (LLMs, AI agents, AI-native developer tools) into real workflows.
- High agency with comfort operating in ambiguous environments and limited direction.
- Strong communication skills across various audiences.
- Team-first attitude with the ability to manage multiple customer engagements.
