About the Role
This role involves representing clients in patent prosecution, PTAB proceedings, and ITC matters for a Tier 1 ranked patent law firm. The practice focuses on cutting-edge clients, primarily medium to large companies.
Responsibilities
- Represent patent owners and petitioners at the PTAB.
- Represent complainants at the ITC.
- Handle patent prosecution for cutting-edge clients.
Requirements
- Registered with the USPTO.
- Strong educational and/or industry experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field.
- High level of familiarity and practical experience in both software and biological fields.
- Prior patent prosecution experience.
- Highly detail-oriented.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in technical writing is a strong plus.
- For Attorney candidates: Admission (or qualification for admission) to the state bar corresponding to the primary office location is required.
