About the Role
This entry-level role provides shift-based coverage for executive residential security operations, including intelligence intake and reporting. Protective Services Operators monitor and assess threat signals in real time, flagging anomalies and escalating credible threats to the broader team before they become incidents.
Responsibilities
- Monitor access control, camera and alarm systems, and visitor logs in real time.
- Flag anomalies and route credible signals to the broader team.
- Triage and assess incoming threat signals.
- Escalate threats for rapid response and mitigations.
- Gain insight into protective security operations.
- Experience how shift operations, intelligence intake, and executive protection work together.

Requirements
- Foundation in security or public safety (0-2 years experience).
- Early experience in security operations, campus safety, law enforcement, military service, emergency communications, or a related field is valued.
- Recent graduates with relevant coursework or internship experience are encouraged to apply.
- Genuine interest in developing a long-term career in protective intelligence, executive protection, corporate security, or intelligence operations.
- Attention to detail and pride in producing accurate documentation.
- Clear communication under pressure, able to communicate calmly and concisely.
- Able to produce accurate shift reports, intelligence summaries, and incident documentation in fast-paced environments.
- Comfortable learning new technologies, security systems, and analytical methodologies.
- Physical fitness required due to the operating environment.
- Willingness to create professional documents and reports.
- Integrity and discretion to handle sensitive information with professionalism, sound judgment, and confidentiality.
- Exposure to shift-based environments such as a security operations center, dispatch center, campus security, emergency communications, or guard-force operations is helpful but not required.
- Interest in monitoring emerging risks, conducting basic open-source and social media research, and connecting information to support informed security decisions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
