About the Role
The Senior Strategy & Business Operations Manager will shape and drive strategic initiatives, acting as a key liaison between strategy, planning, and business operations. This role partners closely with Commercial Strategy, Operations, Finance, and Regulatory & Compliance teams to translate strategy into execution, ensure company-wide alignment, inform decision-making, define operating rhythms, and deliver priorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver end-to-end strategy projects by conducting deep dives and analyzing trends and opportunities.
- Align strategy across Adyen, including Commercial and Operations functions.
- Design, improve, and implement company-wide strategic planning, priorities, and goal setting in collaboration with business teams and Strategic Finance.
- Drive the business operations rhythm through various levels of business reviews.
- Identify and solve ambiguous problems with structured, pragmatic solutions that balance speed and rigor.
- Develop leadership deliverables, including narratives, decision documents, and board materials, to simplify complexity and facilitate senior leader decision-making.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Strategy, Business Operations, Corporate Development, Product, Finance, or related roles within technology companies.
- Demonstrated ability to be a strategic operator, connecting dots and diving into details as needed.
- Proven ability to manage deliverables and establish processes while maintaining speed.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Motivated by impact, ensuring thorough execution and elevating team thinking and performance.
- Ability to build strong relationships and credibility across functions and all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to analyze complex data and situations to derive actionable insights and recommendations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for effectively conveying ideas and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
