About the Role

Coterie, a modern baby care brand, seeks a Logistics Analyst to optimize its freight network. This role involves daily execution, analysis, and continuous improvement of transportation operations, partnering with logistics providers, manufacturers, and warehouses to ensure efficient and cost-effective product movement. The analyst will monitor performance, analyze trends, resolve issues, and collaborate cross-functionally to support growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day execution of inbound and outbound freight operations across international ocean and domestic transportation, ensuring shipments move on time and exceptions are resolved quickly.
  • Coordinate transportation from supplier through warehouse delivery, including freight bookings, shipment tracking, documentation, and pickup and delivery appointment scheduling.
  • Partner with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and 3PL warehouse partners to ensure efficient execution and high service levels.
  • Coordinate inbound execution with our 3PL, including delivery scheduling, receiving priorities, new SKU launches, and inventory-related exceptions.
  • Monitor shipment milestones, proactively identify delays or risks, and communicate timely updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain transportation dashboards and develop weekly and monthly reporting on freight spend, service performance, transit times, and key operational KPIs.
  • Analyze freight costs, carrier performance, network trends, and operational data to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and service enhancements.
  • Audit freight invoices, shipping documentation, and customs records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely issue resolution.
  • Support carrier management, including quarterly business reviews (QBRs), performance scorecards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Experience, Product, and Retail teams to support new product launches, inventory planning, and operational initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or operations.
  • Experience coordinating domestic and/or international freight transportation.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
  • Experience working with transportation, ERP, WMS, or supply chain systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
