About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across the residential rental portfolio, ensuring strong financial, operational, leasing, and resident-service performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop Operations Managers and their teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee property operations, budgets, capital projects, asset management, leasing strategies, and new community openings.
- Drive resident satisfaction and retention by ensuring exceptional service and effective resolution of complex issues.
- Monitor financial performance, key metrics, risks, and compliance requirements, implementing strategies to optimize results.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, residents, government and regulatory bodies, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, corporate policies, health and safety requirements, and risk-management practices.
- Promote operational excellence, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration across the portfolio.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Property Management, Business, Real Estate, or a related field; professional designations are an asset.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in multi-residential property management.
- Strong experience in operations, financial and capital management, strategic planning, leasing, and asset optimization.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams and managing complex resident and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong analytical, financial, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable legislation and proficiency with relevant business systems.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
