About the Role
BC Platforms is seeking a technically strong DevOps engineer to help shape the future of their cloud platform, improve developer productivity, and support healthcare innovations. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a leadership position within a global company focused on powering healthcare data and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
- Automate deployments, operational processes, and developer workflows
- Improve platform reliability, security, and observability
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate engineering delivery and reduce manual effort
- Support and mentor teammates while growing into a DevOps leadership position
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related fields
- Strong hands-on AWS experience and familiarity with Azure
- Expertise with infrastructure as code, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
- Solid Linux, Git, and production systems administration skills
- Experience developing automation solutions in Python or similar languages
- Experience running and securing production environments
- AI-native working style with regular use of tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar
- Excellent written communication and documentation capabilities
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, or SOC 2
