About the Role
This Audit Trainee role is for our London office, starting in January 2027. You will join a team delivering statutory audits for a diverse range of clients, gaining hands-on experience and building essential skills from day one. The firm offers a unique pathway to becoming a qualified accountant, supporting your growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and documenting client information, including invoices, bank statements, and payroll reports.
- Assessing the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Attending client year-end stocktakes, which may occur on weekends or around Christmas.
- Communicating with client finance teams to understand their systems and processes.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements using audit software.
- Collaborating in small teams to perform financial testing and contribute to audit reports.
- Meeting deadlines and supporting the team in delivering high-quality work.
- Studying for the ACA Chartered Accountant Qualification through a blend of college courses and on-the-job learning.
Requirements
- Completed degree and at least 3 A Levels (or equivalent) at grades BBC, including one numerical or business-related subject (for graduates).
- At least 3 A Levels (or equivalent) at grades BBC, including one numerical or business-related subject (for school leavers).
- A sharp eye for detail and a genuine interest in financial data.
- Clear and confident communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-moving environments and work with diverse individuals.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organization under pressure.
- Enthusiasm for Audit and motivation to complete the qualification journey.
