About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying authorization and reporting access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts as required.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
