About the Role
As a FP&A Manager within Bell Business Markets (BBM), you will play a key role in the financial performance of a portfolio of products and services by leading financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis activities. Acting as a strategic partner to business units, you will collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, Product, and Operations teams to provide relevant analysis, identify risks and opportunities, and support informed decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, excellent business acumen, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations that contribute to achieving BBM's financial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly performance monitoring, financial forecasting, annual budgeting, long-term planning, and financial outlook review processes for a BBM Wireless portfolio.
- Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business recommendations to enhance forecast accuracy and support decision-making.
- Manage the financial performance of the portfolio, including revenue, operating expenses, and gross margin, along with variance analysis.
- Monitor key performance indicators, customer trends, and operational factors to identify business risks and opportunities, recommending appropriate actions.
- Act as the primary financial partner to business leaders, providing financial recommendations that drive growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Pricing, and Operations teams to evaluate strategic initiatives, market opportunities, customer impacts, and performance trends.
- Prepare and present financial reports, analyses, and presentations for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, governance requirements, and financial disclosure standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes to optimize forecast accuracy, reporting efficiency, automation, and data utilization for decision-making.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- CPA designation or equivalent accounting designation.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), financial forecasting, financial reporting, or business partnering.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements, budgeting, financial forecasting, and performance management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
- Experience managing or supporting a profit and loss (P&L) center and preparing management-level analyses and presentations in a complex environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in the telecommunications, technology, or business services sectors is an asset.
- Experience with SAP, Anaplan, Alteryx, AI tools, or other financial management systems is an asset.
- Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
- Candidates must be based in Canada and report to a Bell office at least three days per week for hybrid roles.
