About the Role

This internship offers a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-driven student the opportunity to support the Finance/Corporate Planning Department with financial reporting and analysis. The internship runs from September/October 2026 to April 2027, with flexible weekly hours.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate, summarize, and analyze corporate budget vs. actual spend reports and communicate to various leaders.
  • Prepare price/volume/mix report and analysis for monthly governance decks.
  • Load and verify actual and forecasted data for newly acquired companies into reporting systems.
  • Consolidate and prepare presentation deck for Total Food Group flash forecast reporting.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis for various finance requests using Oracle/Hyperion tools and SAP.
  • Analyze and maintain analysis of key competitors within the industry.
  • Engage in project-based work to enhance the monthly close process.
  • Develop models using AI to streamline and enhance monthly reporting and forecasting.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree (concentration in Finance, Accounting, MIS or related field).
  • Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Must have strong financial, problem-solving, and interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Must have a general understanding of accounting and U.S. GAAP.
  • Must possess critical thinking skills.

Skills

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with AI, Oracle BI tools, and SAP preferred.
