About the Role

Kobre & Kim seeks an experienced solicitor for its London office to handle high-stakes, cross-border commercial disputes. The role involves applying litigation skills across diverse matters, focusing on innovative techniques to solve client problems.

Responsibilities

• Work on high-stakes, often cross-border commercial disputes.
• Apply litigation skills across a broad range of matters.
• Utilize deep knowledge and cutting-edge techniques to solve client problems.
• Collaborate on cross-border teams handling criminal defense, regulatory enforcement, internal investigations, civil and commercial litigation, class actions, judgment enforcement, asset recovery, and financial products and services disputes.
• Develop innovative legal solutions.
• Address the client's entire problem, not just the legal aspects.
• Generate unconventional legal strategies.
• Push boundaries to deliver innovative and ground-breaking cross-border solutions.
• Develop knowledge of new legal systems and cultures.

Requirements

• 4-6 PQE
• Strong general commercial litigation experience.
• Willingness to work across a varied disputes caseload.
• Experience of contentious insolvency, restructuring disputes or liability management exercises is useful but not essential.
• Admitted in England & Wales.
• Significant cross border experience in the firm’s practice areas.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Significant client-facing experience.
• Robust writing, drafting and editing skills.
• Expected to work in the office three days a week.
