About the Role
Support the development of the Lens data analytics platform by acting as an integral part of the Commodities Product team, focusing on Gas & LNG, Oils & Chemicals, and Metals & Mining.
Responsibilities
- Act as the day-to-day point person for the cross-functional team, bridging Research Analysts, Data teams, UX, and Engineering to identify solutions.
- Define user requirements with clear acceptance criteria across multiple features.
- Assist in documentation and testing of given solutions to ensure customer fit.
- Communicate product value and priorities to internal teams, including sales and marketing.
- Foster a healthy culture of support and collaboration for a distributed team.
- Translate customer requirements into product functionality aligned with customer needs.
- Inform senior stakeholders on progress and raise risks.
- Engage with users to gather feedback from customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to enable go-to-market efforts.
Requirements
- Experienced Product Manager, or Analyst looking to expand their role into Product Management.
- Experience with the product development cycle including agile software development (Scrum/Kanban), design process, and instrumenting analytics.
- Basic industry knowledge and strong interest in Gas & LNG, Oils & Chemicals, or Metals & Mining sectors.
- Understanding of major players, market conditions, and industry standards.
- Intellectual curiosity for the industry is a must.
- Experience working on data migrations projects is a strong plus.
- Experience using AI in product development is a strong plus.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
