About the Role

AHRC NYC is seeking a Residential Manager (RM) for their Manhattan Group Home residence. This role assumes overall responsibilities for the smooth operation of the residence, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing direct supervision of support staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assumes overall responsibilities for the smooth operation of the residence.
  • Ensures ongoing compliance and quality assurance with State and Federal regulations pertinent to the operation of the residence.
  • Provides direct supervision of direct support staff assigned to the residence.
  • Collaborates with the management team to create a program of services for each resident, and assigns the tasks of each member of the direct support team.
  • Participates in comprehensive service planning activities with outside agencies for each resident.

Requirements

  • Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) Required.
  • Experience as a supervisor in a residential setting Preferred.
  • Knowledge of OPWDD regulations Required.
  • Valid NYS or Tri- state driver's license for more than one year is Required.
  • Must be willing to work flexible schedule including one day of each weekend.
