About the Role
IPS Grow is seeking a Data Manager to shape how data, insight, and technology are used to improve services and outcomes. This role involves working with rich individual-level data to build systems that provide meaningful, actionable insight into service impact, bridging the gap between operational teams and technology specialists.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of data and digital projects across IPS Grow.
- Take ownership of key Salesforce and digital workstreams, ensuring systems meet operational team needs.
- Collaborate with users and stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into practical system and technology solutions.
- Act as a liaison between operational teams, analysts, Salesforce administrators, developers, and external technology partners.
- Shape a user-centered approach to systems and processes, ensuring appropriate information access.
- Lead requirements gathering, discovery, and solution design activities.
- Ensure systems capture high-quality data and support meaningful reporting and actionable insight.
- Improve how data is used to understand service performance and outcomes in collaboration with analysts and reporting specialists.
- Support the development of individual-level reporting and insight into program outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, automation, and reporting.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and coordination for Salesforce-related initiatives.
- Prioritize and deliver platform improvements with Salesforce Administrators and Developers.
- Support the development of scalable systems and infrastructure.
- Embed strong practices for data protection, information governance, security, and compliance.
- Manage relationships with external technology suppliers, implementation partners, and consultants.
- Support organizational change and encourage the adoption of new systems and ways of working.
Requirements
- Experience managing complex data, digital, technology, or CRM projects from inception to delivery.
- Experience as a Product Owner, Systems Manager, Project Manager, or similar role for business-critical technology platforms.
- Experience working with Salesforce or another CRM platform.
- Comfortable working with technical specialists including Developers, Administrators, Analysts, and Data professionals.
- Strong experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into practical technology solutions.
- Understanding of data governance, information management, reporting, and data protection requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with effective communication abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- A user-focused approach with an interest in designing systems around user needs.
- Curious, analytical, and solutions-focused with the ability to structure complex problems.
- Passion for using data, insight, and technology to improve services and outcomes.
