About the Role
AHRC NYC seeks an Account Executive/Job Developer to build and manage strategic business relationships, creating hiring opportunities for neurodivergent professionals. The role involves championing neurodiversity and guiding employers in inclusive hiring practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop employment opportunities for people supported.
- Promote a positive image of AHRC's Employment & Business Services.
- Initiate employer relationships through cold calling and networking.
- Cultivate relationships with employers based on neurodiverse job seekers' abilities.
- Accompany neurodiverse job seekers on interviews and assist with presentation.
- Coordinate account management with relevant staff.
- Ensure program placement goals are met quarterly.
- Prepare and deliver marketing presentations.
- Participate in networking events.
- Travel throughout the 5 boroughs and in and out of state as needed.
- Conduct cold calls, presentations, and placements.
- Submit monthly reports on placements/points.
- Attend and participate in marketing and other required meetings.
- Assist other regions or departments when needed for cross-departmental projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Arts or Science with 2 years of marketing/sales/related experience, OR Associate's Degree with 5 years of experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other Account Executives and Coordinators.
- NY or Tri-State driver's license preferred.
- Must have a clean driving record.
