About the Role
Liquid Personnel is recruiting for an experienced Children's Occupational Therapist to support its client in Sutton, working with children and young people with a range of complex needs. This role involves community assessments, equipment, adaptations, and risk management to help children and families achieve safe and positive outcomes at home.
Responsibilities
- Complete Occupational Therapy assessments for children and young people with a range of physical, developmental and complex needs.
- Complete functional and environmental assessments to identify barriers to independence, safety and participation.
- Assess and recommend appropriate specialist equipment and adaptations to meet the needs of children and families.
- Complete relevant risk assessments and reviews to ensure recommended equipment and interventions are safe and appropriate.
- Identify and progress major adaptation referrals where required.
- Complete assessments and documentation on the Mosaic system, ensuring records are accurate and complete.
- Obtain appropriate manager sign-off and progress cases through to full closure.
- Work collaboratively with children, parents, carers, Social Workers, health professionals and other agencies.
- Provide clear professional advice and recommendations to support children to remain safe and participate within their home and community environments.
- Manage cases independently and ensure all elements of the assessment, equipment and adaptation process are completed within required timescales.
Requirements
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
- Previous experience working with children and young people is essential.
- Experience of community Children's OT, equipment, adaptations and complex assessments is highly desirable.
- Minimum expectation of 10 completed case closures per month.

Salary/Compensations
- £350 flat rate per completed case closure
- £648 induction/training payment payable following completion of the first 5 cases
