About the Role
The North America Payouts team builds services and partner integrations for reliable money movement across the region, focusing on making payouts more instant, improving recipient experience, expanding payment reach, and strengthening reliability and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead meaningful problems from discovery through production.
- Make payouts more instant.
- Improve recipient experience.
- Expand payment reach.
- Strengthen reliability and compliance at scale.
- Connect engineering decisions to customer outcomes, payout volume, speed, quality, cost, and risk.
- Take end-to-end ownership of impactful projects, from understanding the problem and shaping the solution through delivery, rollout, measurement, and long-term operation.
- Maintainable, well-tested software, predictable delivery, effective observability, and thoughtful operational ownership.
- Mentor others, provide actionable feedback, conduct technical reviews, share reusable knowledge, and reduce single-person dependencies.
Requirements
- Strong product mindset.

- Ability to bring the right people together to solve problems.
- Strong experience with Java or Kotlin, Spring Boot, microservices, relational databases, and well-designed APIs.

- Clear and adaptable communication, translating complex technical concepts for different audiences.
- Ability to work across teams to reach practical, well-balanced solutions.
