About the Role

Hilltop Residential is seeking a Community Director for an upcoming acquisition, Bluestem at Loyola. Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily community operations, ensuring high service standards and resident satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor, and support leasing, maintenance, and administrative staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
• Analyze community performance, set goals, and implement strategies to meet occupancy, leasing, and retention targets.
• Monitor and manage property financial performance, including budgeting, rent collection, and expense control.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain residents.
• Ensure compliance with student housing policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
• Maintain current knowledge of the industry, competition, and market trends.
• Address resident concerns and issues, providing excellent customer service.
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and appeal.
• Report community performance and areas for improvement to senior management.
• Generate strategic plans to meet performance goals and achieve market results exceeding sub-market occupancy and rent growth.
• Demonstrate a people-driven attitude by building strong working relationships with team members, peers, leadership, and support departments.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Community Director in Multifamily Property Management with a proven track record.
• Ability to effectively lead and manage a diverse team.
• Strong analytical skills for assessing community needs, problem-solving, and implementing solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve challenges quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of multifamily operations including people management, financial reporting, problem-solving, sales, maintenance, and resident relations.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to lead and motivate others.
• Onesite by Realpage experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation.
