About the Role
Hilltop Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Director for an upcoming acquisition, Bluestem at Loyola. This role is crucial in addressing resident concerns, leasing apartments, and supporting property management.
Responsibilities
- Address resident concerns professionally.
- Set the standard for leasing agent engagement.
- Conduct apartment tours and leases.
- Assist with staff training and sales techniques.
- Lead rent collection efforts, including for delinquent residents.
- Assist in managing the property budget to increase net operating income.
- Inspect apartments during move-in and move-outs.
- Act as Property Manager in the Property Manager's absence.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year experience as an Assistant Property Manager at a conventional apartment community.
- OneSite experience required.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to meet and exceed sales and customer service objectives.
- Exceptional customer service/leasing skills required.
- Must have a friendly outgoing personality.
- Bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Must be reliable and able to take charge in the absence of the manager.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation.
