About the Role

Support individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges, helping them achieve stability and improved well-being through compassionate care and structured support.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
  • Cook and serve meals according to the facility menu.
  • Complete facility chore sheet items as directed by the administrator.
  • Ensure all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
  • Supervise resident medication procedures, ensuring proper medication at the correct time.
  • Count and document all narcotics at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Perform daily chart documentation.
  • Become familiar with The Wood Group's policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in mental health, behavioral health, or social services is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health practices, safety protocols, and crisis intervention techniques.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
