About the Role
Support individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges, helping them achieve stability and improved well-being through compassionate care and structured support.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
- Cook and serve meals according to the facility menu.
- Complete facility chore sheet items as directed by the administrator.
- Ensure all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
- Supervise resident medication procedures, ensuring proper medication at the correct time.
- Count and document all narcotics at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Perform daily chart documentation.
- Become familiar with The Wood Group's policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in mental health, behavioral health, or social services is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices, safety protocols, and crisis intervention techniques.
