About the Role

We are seeking an Account Associate with an enthusiasm to learn and embrace a career in healthcare marketing communications. This position offers a great opportunity for an individual with a passion for healthcare to work with leading clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, and health IT fields.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team on internal and external communications across all Real Chemistry accounts.
  • Manage projects and ensure the team is on track with deliverables and timelines.
  • Draft content for client materials, including press releases, infographics, and fact sheets.
  • Incorporate client edits to documents and materials.
  • Support media monitoring needs for clients.
  • Develop and manage media lists for clients.
  • Conduct media outreach for clients.
  • Support research needs.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors for client needs.
  • Stay on top of relevant trends and flag them to managers and clients.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and interest in healthcare marketing through academic studies or work experience.
  • Possess a good understanding of social media vehicles and be comfortable managing and drafting communications around them.
  • Have an interest in corporate accounts/the healthcare sector and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Be highly organized with a mindfulness of deadlines, able to manage multiple tasks based on priorities, and possess strong attention to detail.
  • Be an independent thinker confident in taking ownership of assets and material development, while also being a team player.
  • Exhibit a professional presence, perform with a sense of urgency, and maintain a client service orientation.
  • Have the confidence to manage upward when required, communicating with managers about deadlines or foreseeable issues.
  • Be high energy and able to effectively operate in a fast-paced, growing, and evolving environment.
  • Possess strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Have good management of Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
