About the Role

The bank teller is the face of ATC, responsible for rendering a high standard of service to all customers. Must interact pleasantly and professionally while conducting transactions and meeting customer needs. Uphold customer confidentiality and perform all necessary job functions.

Responsibilities

• Process personal/business checking and savings deposits (cash or check), verifying cash and endorsements, receiving proper identification for cash back, and issuing receipts.
• Cash checks according to regulation protocol.
• Accept loan and/or tax payments, verifying amount and issuing receipt.
• Process Money Orders and Treasurer's Checks.
• Ensure teller station is properly supplied, balance drawer daily, batch cashed checks, and count/roll loose coins.
• Maintain the security of the teller station.
• Balance and update savings passbooks.
• Answer customer questions, resolve problems, assist with account statements, and refer customers to the proper department.
• Ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to company and regulatory policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills highly recommended.
• Effective listening and communication abilities highly recommended.
