About the Role
Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide community habilitation services in the Camillus, NY area with a man in his early 50s. He is an active gentleman who enjoys ice skating, rollerblading, going to the YMCA, playing basketball, hiking, food shopping, and household chores. New hires will receive training, support, and guidance from both the individual and the agency.
Responsibilities
- Provide community habilitation services.
- Assist with household chores.
- Download and use multiple apps for community-based services.
- Abide by Indera's technology policy.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
- Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.
