About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures; provide directions and general assistance to visitors.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
